EA 802 Quarry Inventory

How To: Do Quarterly Inventories Loom Here First, you need to figure out which location you will be doing inventories for, by finding the map. To get to the map, you're going to go to inventory > product inventory by map > and then you are going to find whichever yard you're doing, in this case, we're going to be doing Oakley. There are lots of sections for it, which means that because we're doing it little by little, each section is aligned with how the order of the map goes. So, in this case, if we do, let's say, for example, section 1, you can see the alignments of how we have it. This is going to align with the map, which is going to be right here. Section 1, section 1 is going to be this portion right here which is going to align with what we have. Once you have the section that you're going to want to work on, so let's say Tiffany or somebody in Oakley is going to be doing the inventories, they're going to come in here, find the section that they want to do, they're going to go on the top right > action > print the map. Then you're going to click print map and you're going to download that file. So once that shows up, it's going to show up in a form like this. Excel is going to have all of the codes, all of the inventory counts, unit of measure, where they're located, which in this case it's the first row, and then the inventory count. We can do it two ways, you can either save this and just type it as you go, or you can control print, and then you can put the inventory right there. This saves you from having to go and write each product name and location. This also means that you can print off the sections that you want, and you can go around the yard, just click the number, and submit that into either accounting, or you can send it to the executive assistant. Once we have all the information from Oakley, (the accounts, they do the inventory accounts, and they send it to accounting, and they're the ones inputting the information) this is when you would go ahead and input it into the system, so that Odoo knows where to allocate each inventory accounts to the correct product. Go to inventory, go to physical inventory by map, and the inventory reference is something that's going to help you. Now, a name for the inventory, For example, Oakley Saw Shop 2024 quarter 2 inventories. Add the creation date and then the location (you're going to want to do Oakley or whatever location you're going to want to do. In this case, it's going to be the Starstone Quarries). Now, find the section you want, click Select, and click Products. This is going to start a new tab that has the quantities. Once you know how many pallets you have or how many pounds, you're going to input the quantities, as many as you need, etc. Once you are done, you're going to click save and then this will get it input into Odoo.
