MKT 280.1 Leads from Construct Connect

What is Construct Connect:

A provider of national construction projects provided by government and corporate entities. Projects consist of new projects such as buildings and homes, updates to projects that include cleaning and repairing parks, homes, government buildings, etc.

Not a lot of relevant information is provided by construct connect and all projects are considered bidding by construction companies. 

It is not the task of marketing to find construction companies to partner with, but to provide the information about the project to sales staff.

The home screen offers a view of projects from our demographic of the West Coast. We are looking for leads around Vancouver Washington and all of Utah. 

On the left are a few filters that allow for cities and states or search by keywords, but I find it easier to just enlarge the map to our locations and find projects that have stone involved.

What does this do to help American Stone. We are looking for projects to bid on that are new builds that contain stone veneer, manufactured stone veneer, flooring, counters, etc. We are interested in projects that we can list ourselves and suppliers, or masons that will use our supplies.

Before we create a new lead there are a few things we need to look at.

Add as interested is a way to put us on a list of suppliers that is interested in this project.

Once you “Add as Interested” scroll down the page where you will see American Stone listed as an interested supplier.

At this point the owner - New Spirit Village - will receive a notice of your interest. On the top right you can send this project as a link - via email - to someone within American Stone. Even if you choose to send a link to the project to a GM, you will still need to create an opportunity for this project and send it through the appropriate channels.

The information you need for your lead can all be found starting at the top of that same page.

The Details of the project that you should put in your lead are the -

Projects Id and Description. You can copy and paste these right into a lead on the website.

Also available on the contact section you will find the information needed to add to your lead. We are looking for information on contractors or architects. This is the person who would make the decisions about supplies that are used. Many of these contacts are already in the Odoo system.

To get details on the owner and the engineer or architect, just click on the name.
