A/R 402 Run a Customer Credit Report
How to Run a Credit Report in NACM
Please note we do not pull any credit with 0 trade lines on NACM
We would contact references instead of pulling credit
- You will receive a credit application either in your email or tasks. Download the application to your computer.
- Go to Sales>Customer and search for the name of the customer. Open the customer card.
- Click EDIT in the top left corner.
- Click on the credit documents Tab
- Upload the credit application to the Customer Card.
- Go to tasks and attach the following information: Date, Customer Business Name, Desired credit limit.
- Navigate to https://nacmint.cicnetwork.com/memberside-angular/login
- The Username is 4420, the operators’ initials are your Initials. You can get the password from the accounting department.
- One you have signed in you will hit the national trade credit report button in the bottom left corner.
- You will then be taken to this page:
- Search by the business name and state
- When you find the correct business, you will see something like this:
Trade Lines here shows 7. The more TL we have the better the report will be. Do not run reports if there is a 0 in the TL section.
Click on the customer and click yes
- A report will now be created. We are interested in the overall risk score 1 or 2 is low risk.
- Download the report. Repeat steps 2-4 to attach this report to the customer card. Log a note on the customer card including the risk level on the attached report.
- Update the credit app task to include risk level on report.
- Message Roger Boyd, who will have the final say on what terms and limits we give the customer.
